If this happens, just don’t take it seriously because the Filipinos are always receptive and joyous.
Your girlfriend’s parents would definitely ask you questions. They would even use interpreters if they think that they cannot speak in English effectively. Try to answer them as honest as possible. There are some instances that you will have a moment or two of huge language barrier. Her parents would try to grasp every possible English word that they could just to communicate with you. If that is the case, try at least to learn few Filipino words that would help communicate easily and effectively with you. This way, having a nice and thrilling conversation would not be such a pain for both of you.
